Hi! We are great friends and stay at home mom's that need to get off of our butts and get in shape! We hope to meet a lot of great people with the same goals we have that we can share info with!
We are entering this contest because to us, it is motivation. We need each other to be held accountable to, so we stay on track. We both are big fans of the show and watch it every week. We cheer our favorites on. Which is usually Jillian's team. She is such an inspiration to us. We want to win this contest so that we may possibly inspire others the way she has us. We have plans of reducing calories, both of us are following the Weight Watchers Flex Point plan. We also are going to get together 2-3 times a week to work out and have fun. We know that this is a life style change and not a diet. We feel so blessed to be a part of this community to meet others on the same road that we are. Thanks Biggest Loser for this awesome opportunity.....We hope we get to meet all of you at the finale!!!!

Wow

well here it is March 1st.  I can't believe this year is flying by.  I have had some internet trouble this past week and haven't been able to access this site.  I hope all of that is over. 
 
Any way, I have really stepped up my workouts.  Tae bo is by FAR the best calorie burner i have! In 50 minutes I am burning over 400!  I think my endurance is getting better because I am not getting as out of breath as I used to.  I am noticing changes in my body too---I will post pictures soon---well i have to go get breakfast goin!  have a great weekend!!!

not been here

So it has been a while since either Mary or I has been on here.  I know she has been super busy and I have been busy also---we both adopted puppies around Valentine's day.  Siberian Huskies!  They are both female and sisters.  Her's is named Mya and ours is Jasmine.  My girls have been begging for a pup for a while and I finally gave in. 
 
I also have been a bit depressed lately.  I just didn't understand what happened.  I indulged a couple of times and it showed.  I gained 4 pounds.  It is slowly coming back off--then the deal with the heart rate monitor.  I just don't know if I can kick my workouts up any harder than I am doing.  I mean I was doing workouts that I thot were pretty intense and good calorie burners but I guess not Disappointed.  I am going to try a Tae Bo video---i think i'll try the fat burn accelerator from his amped series.  I'll let you all know if it burned good calories or not.  Stay tuned........

Surprised...

So how bout I ordered a heart rate monitor a few weeks ago and it came last week.  I was out of town over the weekend and didn't get much exercise in, so today was my first real experience with it.  I did Step Reebok, which I consider to be a pretty intense workout--I would figure it for about 500 calories burned--well my hrm said I only burned 306 calories.  I was sweating so bad and out of breath and I know my heart rate was up the whole time.  Does anyone know if these things are accurate?  I don't know if I am reading it wrong---I have a Polar F6.  I guess I am going to have to do some net research on it cause the instruction manual doesn't give you much to go by....guess I am really going to have to step things up!!!!Disappointed

Well today i ripped off mu middle toe nailSad. I can't put my workout shoes on so i just did my bike for about 20 mins and then did a little bench pressing, not what i wanted but i guess it will do.. Hopefully it will be feeling a bit better tomorrow so i can get a hard workout in!! thanks MaryBaring teeth

Sarah here.  Thanks for responding to my blog.  I couldn't agree with you more.  The scale is only ONE way to measure progress.  The tape measure, body fat scale/caliper/website, and PICTURES!  I encourage everyone to take pictures to see progress.  Keep up the good work, ladies Smile
